Refund Policy

What's combined & why. One Refund Policy covers both sides of the marketplace because the same products span them. Part A is for runners (consumers); Part B is for partners and organizers. Mandatory statutory consumer rights always take precedence over these terms.

1. Statutory rights first

Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you have under applicable law (for example, the EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal for certain digital purchases, or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law, Canadian provincial law, or Brazil's CDC). Where such rights apply, they control.

Part A — Consumers (runners)

A1. Memberships / subscriptions

• NXTRUNN offers a paid membership (NXTRUNN Pro) sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store (in-app purchase) and Google Play (Play Billing). Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account.
• You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.
• Membership refunds are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their respective refund policies — request a refund through the store you purchased from. NXTRUNN generally cannot issue refunds for store-billed subscriptions directly, and does not refund partial/unused periods except where required by law.
• Free trials (if offered) convert to paid unless cancelled before the trial ends; where we offer a free trial, we'll tell you the terms at sign-up and, where required, remind you before it converts.

A2. Event tickets

• Tickets are sold by event organizers, not by NXTRUNN. Payments are processed via Stripe Connect (a destination charge); NXTRUNN retains a flat 10% platform fee and transfers the rest to the organizer.
• The organizer sets the ticket refund/cancellation policy, which is disclosed on the event page. Refund requests go to the organizer first.
• If a refund is approved, the refund is processed back through Stripe. The NXTRUNN 10% platform fee is non-refundable on buyer-initiated cancellations, but is refunded if the organizer cancels the event or for duplicate or erroneous charges.
• If an organizer cancels an event or materially changes it, attendees are entitled to a refund per the organizer's policy and applicable law; NXTRUNN will reasonably assist.

A3. Digital goods, passes & in-app credits

• Digital passes (Wallet tickets), points, and tap-credits are tied to features and are generally non-refundable once issued/used, except for errors or as required by law.

A4. Merchandise

• Physical merchandise (fulfilled via Printful) is subject to the returns/defect policy disclosed at purchase. Defective or incorrect items are eligible for replacement/refund.

A5. How to request a consumer refund

• Memberships: request through the Apple App Store or Google Play (the billing party for your subscription).
• Other NXTRUNN-billed items: info@nxtrunn.com.
• Event tickets: contact the organizer (details on the event/order); escalate to info@nxtrunn.com if unresolved.
• Include your order/receipt details. We respond within 5 business days.

Part B — Partners & Organizers

B1. Run Spaces partner subscriptions

• Partner ($49/mo) and Partner Pro ($99/mo) plans renew monthly unless cancelled (annual plans, where offered, include two months free). These are billed through Stripe.
• Cancel anytime; cancellation stops future renewals at period end. Fees already paid are generally non-refundable, except for billing errors or as required by law. Downgrades take effect at the next cycle.
• Past-due accounts may enter a dunning/grace period before features (e.g., Pro) are downgraded.

B2. Event promotion upgrades

• Standout ($49 launch price) is a self-serve promotional placement billed directly to the organizer (this is not a Stripe Connect payout charge and does not change the per-ticket fee). Headline is an admin/sponsor-only placement.
• Promotional placement fees are non-refundable once the promotion has run/started, except for errors or as required by law.

B3. Platform fees on ticket sales

• NXTRUNN's flat 10% platform fee applies to all paid ticket sales regardless of placement tier. Placement tier affects visibility only, never the fee.

B4. Payouts, reversals & chargebacks

• Organizer payouts settle through Stripe Connect. If a buyer is refunded or wins a chargeback/dispute, the corresponding funds (and any associated fees) may be reversed/deducted from the organizer's balance or future payouts. Organizers are responsible for honoring tickets and for refunds under their stated policy.

B5. How to request a partner refund

• partners@nxtrunn.com, with account/invoice details. We respond within 5 business days.

2. Fraud & abuse

We may decline refunds, or reverse transactions and credits, in cases of fraud, abuse, or violation of our terms.

3. Changes & contact
